The Primrose Inn

Old style elegance with modern conveniences.

The Cronin family, Cat, Phil, Chris and Jack welcome you to The Primrose Inn. We are located in the historic district just adjacent to the Physic Estate, Victorian Museum.

The Primrose Inn, a gothic farmhouse, offers sun-filled warmly decorated rooms with period furnishings.

The Primrose Inn was built by Aaron Schellenger in 1850 for his daughter and husband. Mr. Schellenger's family were ship builders and whalers who settled here as early as 1640.

The Cronin's purchased the property in 2008.
